Torchon Hanging

Description

An original decorative design by Jan Gardiner, this Torchon hanging contains cloth  stitch and half stitch trails, together with cloth stitch triangles against the edges. Also included are spiders and roseground stitch.

There are two (2) pre-printed prickings included in the pattern pack, one has the ‘header and footer’ included whilst the other does not. This pricking could be used to make a runner.

The lace measures approximately 35cm x 11cm, including the ‘header and footer’, before being mounted on a rod or dowel.

Requirements: 50 pairs of Aurifil Mako 28 (or equivilent), two 6mm diameter rods or dowels (in wood, light metal or plastic) of a minimum of 14cm length and seed beads and wire to finish the mounting.
