Description
An original Torchon design depicting the Christian Cross. The Trinity is represented in the design by the Triangles at the edge. Ultimate Sacrifice is represented by the Crown of Thorns made using Spiders. The Love of God is shown by the heart shaped Fans. The stitches chosen, such as Spiders, Roseground, Honeycomb (worked in Cloth Stitch and Twist), should be able to be made by any competent lacemaker. However, there are detailed thread guides included in this pattern pack to help the lacemaker succeed. The completed Cross is approximately 27 x 37cm (10.5 x 14.5 inches) in size.
Requirements: 18 pairs of a suitably fine metallic thread plus 1 pair of thick Gimps also in a suitable metallic thread.
