Description
An original decorative design by Jan Gardiner, this Torchon hanging contains cloth stitch and half stitch trails, plus spiders. Cloth stitch triangles are used against the edges. Also included are areas of Roseground and Honeycomb grounds. The lace has a footside edge all the way round.
The pattern pack includes a full thread guide, as well as 4 pages of additional instructions.
There are 2 prickings included in the pattern pack, 1 has the ‘header and footer’ included and the other does not. This pricking could be used to make a runner.
The lace measures approximately 35cm x 11cm, including the ‘header and footer’, before being mounted on a rod or dowel.
Requirements: 50 pairs of Aurifil Mako 28, 6mm diameter rod or dowel to hang the lace from, plus seed beads and wire to finish the mounting.
