Knot Garden

Description

An original decorative Torchon Mat design by Jan Gardiner. This lace was inspired by the knot garden at Hampton Court Palace. The design reflects the separate sections of flora surrounded by clipped hedges and also shows the decorative pathway from which the visitor can enjoy the garden. The lace is relatively straightforward, using diamonds, trails, Spider Ground, honeycomb and triangles and is approximately 17  x 17cm (6.75 x 6.75 inches) in size.

Requirements: 45 pairs and 2 Gimp pairs of Aurifil Mako 50 cotton or similar.
