Description
A straight forward braid lace design by Jan Gardiner, which can be personalised through the choice of thread colours and adornments, such as beads etc.
Requirements: 6 to 8 pairs of the main or principal colour, 4 pairs of a contrasting colour (using Aurifil Mako 28, Venus 70 or similar) and 2 Gimp pairs using a suitable metallic thread. You can also utilise small beads within the design to provide additional sparkle.
Aurifil thread can be found under the ‘Aurifil Mako Cotton’ tab in the ‘Threads and Wires’ section and is available in a wide range of colours.
Venus 70 thread can be found under the ‘Venus Cotton’ tab in the ‘Threads and Wires’ section and is available in a range of colours.
To finish off your work we have a bracelet finishing kit (available in Gold plated finish (14-210) or Silver plated finish (14-0209)) or a range suitable crimps, jump rings and clasps, which can be found under the ‘Findings’ tab in the ‘Accessories and Equipment ‘ section.
