Description

An original Torchon mat design by Jan Gardiner. This is a basic lace with simple techniques particularly suitable for the less experienced lacemaker. The finished lace (made here in white cotton thread) is approximately 9 x 9cm (3.5 x 3.5 inches) in size and is suitable for inserting in a 9cm (3.5 inch) square Coaster blank.

Requirements: 30 to 31 gimps & pairs of Aurifil Mako 50 cotton or similar.
