Wirework Bobbin

Description

These polished wooden bobbins have been especially modified to enable you to work easily and effectively with wire for making wire jewellery and other similar applications. Each bobbin has had a small Brass Plated hook inserted into the head of the bobbin, which enables the wire to be held without having to resort to using any form of hitch, coupled with a small hole through the lower body that acts as an anchor point for the other end of the wire. We have also found this to be a very effective way of handling many metallic or fluffy threads. They can be purchased either individually, or in packs of 10 bobbins.
