This little pattern has a lot of potential as a wide variety of stitches would fit the grid.
This small coaster was designed to show how simple Torchon lace can be fine and beautiful. Both Cloth and Half stitches are used in the diamonds. To make the Spiders a bit more interesting, some are worked in Half stitch while others are worked in Cloth stitch.
The edge fans are worked in Half stitch with Cloth stitch and twist used on the edge pairs.
Thread Requirements: 26 to 27 pairs of Aurifil Mako 50 or similar.

A suitable square Acrylic mount (SKU 10-0030) may also be found under the ‘Accessories’ category.
